Uttarakhandi guy Prasoon joshi and a only Indian who has to his credit the Golden Lion Award at Cannes.. This past weekend, the creative director of McCann-Erickson India, was chosen as a YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS, forum an affiliated of the world Economic forum.

And the next week, the much hyped 'Rang De Basanti', the dialogues and songs of which he has written, releases in theaters across the country. It's a re affirmation that I'm going in a right direction says Uttarakhandi Gem Prasoon Joshi. About the prestigious global recognition he has been chosen among 40 Asians from Varies fields for the honors and joins a community that represents 90 countries.

Now he is looking forward to the release of disputed film, Rang De Basanti, whose songs are already burning the music charts (APNI TO PAATHSHALA MASTI KI PAATHSHALA) Prasoon promises that the dialogues will also live up to expectations. It's one of those rare films that respects the mind of the country's youth and that is my contribution to the film, he reveals.

Next up, besides his various Ad projects, is actor Karol's comeback vehicle with Amir Khan, the Yash Raj film, Fanaah, whose songs he has penned.
